1st) HAUNTED PLACES OF PAKISTAN - 200 YEARS OLD HAVELI ON BANDER ROAD SUKKUR:-

A three-storey pre-partition era building at Bunder Road in Sukkur is believed to be a dwelling place for paranormal beings:

Take for instance an old-age building in Old Sukkur that has gained the name of ‘Jinnat Building’.

Those who live nearby narrate stories of horrific encounters that range from seeing lights in the building flick on and off by themselves to witnessing actual jinns or demons on its rooftop. As these stories passed on for years, people would avoid going near the building for fear of being possessed or hurt by ‘supernatural forces’.

This is the MOST HAUNTED and dangerous HAVELI of Pakistan located in Sukkur on Bander Road alongwith the river Indus. This is 200 years old haveli where the Hindu's Family used to live before Partition of Sub-Continent. A lady named "Radika" was one of the family members who lived there. Today her spirit is harassing the people by asking them to marry with her (a spirit). Nobody knows was she murdered or died by an accident....? Nobody dare to move on the road after 10:00 PM. When trying to demolish this 200 years old building, problems create each time. This is a haveli on Bunder Road, Sukkur city which is about 200-250 year old. This haveli was made for humans to enjoy their life in it but now ghost and witches have taken over it as their kingdom. No one dares to pass by it at night. It was constructed by Hindu families before the partition of 1947. They left this place after partition. Muslim emigrants used it as a shelter later. This haveli lying vacant since 2006.

It is said that when the sun sets later in the evening, weird noises can be heard from the inside. Sometimes ghosts start to sing for their fun. Sounds of opening and closing of doors and windows can be clearly heard. These noises are sometimes much stronger that people wake up from their sleep. Neighbours want to complain about it but there is no one with whom they can talk. Haveli is in very bad condition but can’t be demolished because whenever someone tries it then the power of the houses don’t allow them to take away their shelter. The lady with the name ‘Radika’ is very famous. She is a very innocent looking witch and tries to flirt with young people asking them for marriage. I am thinking what if anyone agrees to marry her? Anyways, it is said that this building was burned and some people died in this incident. I am still thinking if someone accepts her proposal?

A white color cat with one ear was also found around and inside this haunted building. It is said that the spirit named "Radhika" is in the shape of this cat.

سکھر کے بندر روڈ پہ واقع یہ حویلی تقریباً 200 سال سے بھی زیادہ قدیم ہے۔ دراصل بیابان اور ویران دکھائی دینے والی یہ پراسرار حویلی درحقیقت اتنی سادہ نہیں۔ خوف و دہشت کے سائے میں لپٹی اس حویلی کے در و دیوار اپنی پراسراریت کی منہ بولتی داستان ہیں۔ کہا جاتا ہے کہ تقسیم ہند سے قبل یہاں کچھ ہندو گھرانے آباد تھے۔ قیام پاکستان کے بعد یہاں آباد مسلم گھرانے بھی کافی مدت پہلے یہاں سے نقل مکانی کرچکے ہیں تقریباً 2006 سے یہ حویلی خالی پڑی ہے۔ علاقہ مکینوں کے مطابق یہ حویلی دراصل آسیب اور چڑیلوں کا مسکن  ہے۔جہاں ایک ہندو عورت کی بدروح لوگوں کو ہراساں کرنے کے لیے موجود ہے۔ علاقہ مکین نے بتایا کہ ''یہاں کچھ عورتیں ہیں۔۔۔ اس کا نام ہے۔۔۔ نام بھی سن رکھا ہے ہم نے۔ رادیکا نام ہے اس کا۔ چڑیل عورت۔ حلیہ ایسے ہی تھا جیسے معصوم سا چہرہ تھا ان کا اور وہ فلرٹ کرتی ہے کہ شادی کرو۔ کوئی بھی اچھا لگتا ہے۔ بس شادی کرو۔۔۔ اس کے پیچھے پڑ جاتی ہے''۔  کہتے ہیں کہ رات کے وقت اس حویلی کی چاردیواری سے شور شرابے کی آوازیں آتی ہیں۔ دروازے کھڑکیاں بجنے لگتے ہیں اور خوف کے امیت سائے اور بھی گہرا رنگ اختیار کرلیتے ہیں۔ علاقہ مکین نے مزید بتایا کہ ''یہاں پہ کبھی بچوں کو تنگ کرتے تھے۔ یہی عورتوں کی طرح آتے تھے  اور تنگ کرتے تھے اور کبھی پتھر گرتے تھے کبھی کبھی بعض اوقات ایسے ہوتا تھا کہ سوتے ہوئے بندوں کو جگائے دیتے تھے، شور سے''۔  انہی وجوہات کے سبب رات تو درکنار، دن میں بھی لوگ یہاں سے گزرنے سے احتراض کرتے ہیں۔ دوسرے علاقہ مکین نے بتایا '' رات کو اکثر برتن بجنے کی آوازیں آتی تھیں، صبح باہر نکل کر دیکھو تو باقاعدہ برتن پڑے ہوتے تھے''۔  

200 سال پرانی یہ حویلی جس سے کئی واقعات منسوب ہیں، اس حویلی کی حالت دیکھ کر یہ کہا جاسکتا ہے کہ یہ اپنی کہانی خود بیان کررہی ہے، جہاں رادیکا نامی ایک چڑیل عورت رہتی ہے۔ جس نے اپنے مرنے کے بعد اپنا ہی گھر خالی کروا لیا۔ کیونکہ وہ وہاں پاکستان بننے سے پہلے رہا کرتی تھی ۔ اس حویلی میں ہندو خاندان آباد تھا۔  اس نے اپنا بچپن گزارا تھا۔ آج اس کی روح لوگوں کو ہراساں کرنے کے لیے وہاں موجود ہے۔ یہ پاکستان کی سب سے پہلے نمبر پہ ڈراؤنی جگہ مانی جاتی ہے۔ جتنی دفعہ مالکان نے اس عمارت کو توڑنے کی کوشش کی ہمیشہ ان کی راہ میں کوئی نہ کوئی رکاوٹ ضرور آئی۔ وہ عمارت آج تک گرائی نہ جا سکی۔ یہاں ایک سفید رنگ کی بلی کو گھومتے دیکھا گیا ہے جو عمارت کے اندر اور باہرگھومتی  رہتی ہے۔ اس کا ایک کان کٹا ہوا ہے۔ تصور کیا جاتا ہے کہ رادیکا نامی چڑیل عورت کان کٹی بلی کے روپ میں پھرتی ہے۔ یہاں حویلی کے اندر سے اکثر رات 10 بجے کے آس پاس برتنوں کے گرنے کی اور انسانی باتیں کرنے کی آوازیں ہمسایوں نے باقاعدہ سنی ہیں۔
