HOUSE IN NORTH NAZIMABAD NO. 4 KARACHI:

9th- TOP MOST HAUNTED
PLACES IN SINDH - HYDERABAD CITY SINDH: THE CITY'S OF SPIRITS
In Hyderabad, most haunted places are Shamshan Ghaat Cemetery of
Hindus burning and burial point, the second one is Kacha and Pakka Qila the old
historical fort and the third one is the Railway Station of Hyderabad City at
the Pakistan's main railway line.
The Hyderabad Fort was
built in the year 1700. It
has two main portions which are
called Kacha Qila (the weak fort) and the other one is known as Pakka Qila
(Strong Fort). As per knowledge, the people nearby residents of this fort said
that both the forts are haunted by the ghosts and spirits. Actually, Hyderabad
City is known as the City’s of Spirits of Pakistan. Hyderabad City is located
in the Sindh Province of Pakistan. I have also told you in my very first page
of “My Haunted Pakistan” that as we moved from North to South region of the
Country, it became spooky and more spooky, as compared to the Northern Areas.
a) KACHA QILA:
Kacha Qila (Weak Fort)
is also called Makki Shah Qila as there is a shrine inside the fort. This fort
is small compared to Pakka Qila, and is made of mud. The fort was built by Mian
Ghulam Shah Kalhoro using unbaked clay bricks as opposed to fired baked bricks
which were used for the construction of Pakka Qila.Today, most people head to
the fort to pay a visit to shrine of Makki Shah built on the hill of the fort.
This qila is more haunted than the Pakka Qila, in this city’s of spirits
“Hyderabad”.
b) PAKKA QILLA:
Pakka Qila is also
called in Sindhi Language “Pacco Qillo” (Strong Fort), is an early
modern fortification in Hyderabad, Pakistan. The Fort was constructed on the
hillock, known locally as Gunjy, by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro around 1768
when he founded the city of Hyderabad.
The Fort, slightly
oblong in shape, covers 30 acres of land. Its fortification wall,
running along the contours of the hillock, is imposing with burnt bricks and
decorated with ornamental ‘kangaroos’ of odd shape. There is only one main
entrance, opening in the north towards Shahi Bazar. A small enclave near the
main gate towards north is the only area where the few historical buildings
still stand to tell the tale of the Fort’s past glory. In the northwest corner
of this complex lies the Mirs haram, built on 7.5m high solidly built
podium, the interior is profusely decorated with fresco paintings. It has five
large halls towards the east. This was the place where Mirs treasury was
located.
History:
Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro
made it his capital and raised some buildings for the purpose of civil use.
During the Talpur rule over Sindh, Mir Fateh Ali Khan abandoned Khudabad and
shifted his capital to Hyderabad in 1789. He also used the Hyderabad
Fort to reside and hold his court. For the purpose he added a haram and other
buildings to accommodate the ruling family and his relations. He also built
some mosques.
c) KACHA AND PAKKA QILA AS
“HAUNTED”:
After
defeating the Mirs in the Battle of Miani in 1843, the British occupied the
fort. Some blasts in the fort, later on, destroyed most of the buildings and
houses of the public. People died in this incident. Their Spirits are present
today in 2019. Strange voices of these spirits can be heard late night after
12AM. This fort is Haunted by their Spirits. In 1857, the British razed most of
the remaining buildings to ground to make room for use of the area to
accommodate troops, military stores etc. Ever since the British period the
craftsman and working class people live in a sort of shanty town inside the
fort.
Present condition:
Due to passage of time
vagaries of nature and especially human vandalism the Fort has suffered to a
great deal. At present the fortification wall of the Fort is in a very
dilapidated condition from the several places it's lost every originality. The
south east part of the wall most effected and bulged out.
10- TOP MOST HAUNTED
PLACES IN LOWER AND UPPER SINDH -
EXPERIENCES OF SOME PEOPLE:
Elderly Haji Mohammad Ali, when asked about the presence of the
supernatural, affirmed their presence as he had encountered them coming out of
the premises of Masoom Shah Minar and disappearing soon after crossing its
gate. “The other day, I deliberately went there at midnight and stood near a
shop situated outside the wall of the Minar. After waiting for around an hour I
saw a woman with long hair and dirty clothes appear from inside and disappear
near the gate,” Ali claimed. He added that after gathering courage he went
towards the gate of the Minar but there was nothing.
“Gone are the days when the jinn used to occupy certain buildings,
roads and parks,” he claimed. “Now with the ever rising population and
scarcity of the space, such beings too must have migrated to some other place.”
Ali recalled that there would have been no more than 300,000 people in
the city in the 70s and residents seldom lingered outside their homes
after sunset. “Now, people go to different eateries after midnight, enjoy food
and return back to their homes till early morning.”
Daulat Ram, who is in his mid 70s and goes by Daula, strongly
believes that paranormal activity exists in places of Sukkur city like the Old
Meat Market Road, Wallace Road, Stadium Road, Station Road, and Regent Cinema
Road. “Once I was returning from the Regent Cinema after watching a movie and
when I reached the Old Meat Market, I saw a beheaded man standing in the middle
of the road,” he narrated, “I was horrified and started running without looking
back.”
He claimed he has encountered supernatural entities many times but
they have never harmed him. “One night my mother had a headache and I went out
to purchase medicine for her. As soon as I reached the Old Meat Market, I saw a
man in white clothes standing by the roadside. When I neared the man he started
growing in height and I took to my heels” he said.
Not everyone in the region has conviction in such tales, however.
Mohammad Qasim, for instance, doesn’t believe in such hauntings. “I think it is
just our intuition and instinct, nothing more. I am 55 and have never
encountered anything paranormal throughout these years,” he said. “I am not
saying the people are lying about this, but as far as I am concerned, I have
neither seen any such thing and nor have heard about it from my parents,” he
added.
Others find other means to beat their fear. Ghulam Ali who goes by
Ghulamoo is a drug addict who has nowhere to live and therefore sleeps in the
park near Masoom Shah Minar. “Demons cannot cause any harm to me,” he claimed
proudly. “Once I had a fight with a paranormal being and I made him flee. The
entity might have mistaken me as a bigger demon and therefore accepted defeat
and fled,” Ghulamoo he asserted.
Senior journalist, writer, poet and historian Mumtaz Bukhari
offered some nuance when asked about the numerous stories told by the people.
He himself claims to believe in nothing apart from the creations of Allah
mentioned in the Holy Quran. Talking about the Jinnat Building of Old Sukkur,
he said the passage of time showed all tales surrounding it were myth. “In my 40
years living in Sukkur, I have come across no incident that could be truly
paranormal,” he said. He offered another explanation: “I think these stories
are often spread by people with vested interests to scare others from a certain
place.”
Senior psychiatrist Dr Hafeez Mushtaq agreed with Bukhari
somewhat. “As a psychiatrist, I do listen to patients who claim to have been
visited by or experienced something supernatural or paranormal,” he said. But
there is usually another underlying explanation that makes people prone to
believing in these things. “Some parents in our society like to use these tales
to get their children to behave or stay away from certain otherwise dangerous
places.”
While borne out of good intentions, Dr Mushtaq condemned this
practice. “It harms the mental health of children and as they take these
cautions for truth, they start believing or seeing things themselves,” he said.
“Some people, for instance, can be easily be made to believe that something
spooky goes on at night if they already have a fear of the dark.”
Former police officer Shoukat Abbasi, who at the time of
retirement was serving as ADDIG in Sukkur, categorically denied the presence of
paranormal entities. “During 35 years of service I served at different places
and performed duty during nights, but have never encountered any demons or
jinns or ghosts,” he said. However, he shared that some of his colleagues
sometimes came up with such stories. “But they could never prove their claims.”
Real estate investor Syed Hussain Ali Shah shared that he once
purchased a four-storey residential plaza in Sukkur with eight residential
units. “Two of its units on the top floor were lying vacant since long and when
I asked the reason, the watchman informed me that both the units were haunted.”
Nonetheless, Shah visited the supposed haunted units and arranged for them to
be cleaned. “Some relatives of mine are living in both units now and they have
experience no trace of any ghosts, jinns or demons.”

13TH - Sindh – Karachi – Lyari –
THIS IS THE NEW READABLE STUFF FOR YOU IN LOWER SINDH.
People claim that they have seen a ghost of a man badly wounded
and bleeding from head to toe who vanishes if approached. The sight seems quite
horrific while it is a matter of fact that in Karachi if a man is badly beaten
and he is bleeding profusely, he would definitely flee in fear that his
attackers have returned with a “BORI” trimmed in his size.

Paranormal Activities Caught Inside Ocean Mall Karachi.
Paranormal Activities
Caught Inside Ocean Mall Karachi. "In ocean mall there is something
actually creepy". Farid’s also closed because of it. Recently a worker was
beaten up by someone he didn’t see at the ground floor and he was crying badly.
Today I went and asked a worker there first they were denying but then he
agreed and said that when Ocean Mall Karachi was not built, there was Midest
hospital at this place .On ground floor there was morgue (dead body room) so
this kind of incidents usually happens here.
Now that area B4
parking area is closed because of this issue, even the workers at Farid’s used
to say that at morning when they used to enter in store, they see mess up and
unusual things. A regular visitor of ocean mall Faiza Adamjee said that There
is something creepy there. A year ago, as I was entering, there was a huge
hungama near the watch shop, left side of where we enter from, near the
reception table. A girl was screaming and howling continuously. Staff and
security were going in and out, and i swear it sounded scary. She got so loud
that the entire mall was out on the balconies, and they had to close the
shutter of the shop, to muffle her cries and screaming. I went up to a couple of
stores and all the salesgirls told me that they were scared to work there. I
don’t know what was wrong with that girl, but if she wasn’t delivering a child
in there, her cries were alarming.
If you believe Almighty
has the power to decide your fate, then these individuals are strong enough to
overcome the orders of almighty and influence others’ lives according to their
own will? That doesn’t make sense.
I
know people in this country accept that black magic is not a myth, its 100%
REAL and it is a mind game done with black magic spells. Mostly people will
realize with the passage of time that black magic exists.
This topic is going
viral on different social Media websites including Facebook. A girl Ayesha
Pandit said posted on Facebook that don’t know wasn’t there long enough. But I
worked at FTC a company or department, on Shahrah e Faisal, that place
is as haunted as it gets very heavy atmosphere. You can see people walking and
talking and roaming around at night. Entities take up the form of people who work
there and mislead their colleagues. Many other people are also expressing their
views on social media and most of the people are claiming that there is
something wrong with this mall and they think that there is some kind of ghost
in Ocean Mall Karachi.
